Appears as though the Red team has figured out something. Of course it is only practice and means little at this point but was impressive none the less with a fairly good gap. Will see tommorrow I suppose. Have a good one all and may you feel better tommorow than you do today. Adio

racy. yes, first and third, with vettel in between, recovering from a crash. but the ferraris cannot handle their tyres on a long stint. if they havent sorted that problem, they will be beaten on sunday, by bulls and maccas. but lulu has a problem, having lost a set of super softs. he may sacrifice a grid placig so as to have enough for the race. watching vettel through the "koba corners", he speed with which it was able to change direction, was astounding.
are you up ny way? whats the problem with the weather there?

Richard-the weather here is hot and nasty-ie Jim Dandy. 97 today with a breeze in the shade. Just wish Ferrari would get to where they could compete for the lead that is all. Watching one constructor control the pace gets old. And thought Lulu got and extra set due to a 'puncture'? Figured that the regular softs would work fine on a high speed course. Will see I suppose. Being Canada will probably not be too hot. Just wait till they get to Texas. Be fine all

racy it was just that our commentators said that emerson and other americans could not fly out from ny due to weather. i though that there might be more storms. the commentators also said that lulu was now short a set of tyres. i would have though that this could be correct, or others would be going around trying to pick up a puncture, so as to replace used with a new set?
rob. seb seems to have the pace, although it is only practice. it is said that mark has problems with the tyres.

what's with mercedes? both drivers are way back, i wonder what they are up to because i don't think thats the real pace of the car on this circuit.

After the first season Mercedes said that they will concentrate on tyres degradation in the second season which means “1” they were going to run with some meaningful fuel load “2” they were going to do some consistent laps and not just 2/3 lap run to impress with a qualifying like lap like they did in the morning.
