F1 » Vettel: It's down to me, I locked up the rear...

Sebastian Vettel: Of course I'm disappointed. I think it was a very difficult race from start to finish and we led every single lap, apart from the last one, or part of the last one.

Vettel tried to say he handed that away to Button. BS, Button put the pressure on and Vettel simply cracked. That's what a race is. He shouldn't discount Button's win. Vettel is great but no need to discredit a legit race win by Button.

Vettel crack? don't make me laugh... yes he made a mistake like many others including JB...
Spoiled brat? looks like everyone forgot Monaco already and forgot who really is the spoiled brat, right?

Uh yes, that's called cracking. The car didn't malfunction, he cracked under pressure as do most drivers. My problem is that he said he gave it away to Button. Button simply took it from him. Button made him crack because he applied pressure. Give credit where credit is due. He wasn't making errors until Button started pressuring him.

@boohoo I think upset would be an understatement for anyone who lost a huge race on the final corners of the final lap... we need to remember lest your imperial pride get the better of you, that all the Mclaren fans were talking about how Ferrari Mclaren and maybe even Merc were gonna swallow Vettel and Redbull alive this weekend... very clearly not the case. Button drove an amazing race, and deserves the win, but seriously, Vettel cant win with you guys, he defies the odds to lead almost every single lap and loses on the last one and somehow he is crumbling? He took it too easy at the end and got caught with his pants down, he was rightfully very disappointed and yet managed not to go a tirade against his team/ other drivers/ etc. but rather quietly accepted his mistake. He is human after all.

Great to see Button win, hard luck for Seb. I think hes a great driver when no ones around him, but the moment hes put under the pump hes in trouble, not just this race but look at last year how many overtakes he stuffed up and hit another driver (webber, button, sutil on 2 occasions, just off the top of my head). Hes got the defending / overtaking skills of rookie driver

@Mick: I suppose you weren't able to catch Monaco and Spain this year? Alonso and button were around him in the former, and Hamilton in the latter.

I personally think he has grown a lot since last year. He finally made a crucial mistake in Montreal, but I don't think that should negate his other great drives this season.
