54 years ago I was privileged to have been able to watch the Nurburgring race this race fantastically won by el maestro driving a 4 year old model 250F Maserati is still regarded as the greatest ever drive in formula one history.
And this is a honest appeal, please do not contaminate these pages and therefore history with today's BS/NONSENCE.

I read somewhere that on the few occasions during his career that someone came up behind him who was faster, he would simply move over for them in the spirit of fair competition, times have changed indeed!

Could they maybe have found a pic with him sitting in an actual Maserati, instead of a Mercedes? Nevertheless, a genuine legend (a term used far too freely these days), and renowned Gentleman racer.

Nice work on Masrati's behalf.
