must admit that i was sceptical of the reports, but it is now true. still think its a mistake, but dietrich says that it is to compare him to tonio, who is a known quantity for red bull. i guess that he came with some vital cash as well!
daniel is a talent, so it will be interesting to see what he can do in the hrt.
wonder if hrt will become a junior, junior red bull team?

taz. read my post! rather than attack me, why do you not try to see a wider picture. tonio was let go by str, and is trailing around at the rear of the field. i actually had high hopes for tonio. but do you really think that any team is now looking at him seriously. a good driver being last or second last, is not a good advert for your skills. what daniel will have is the definite backing of red bull, and therefore he is their only hope for a drive. but he will need to trounce tonio. if tonio is not good enough for a str drive, then if daniel matches him, then it will not mean a lot. i still think that friday drives for str is a better way to assess his performance.

Hmmm.. Considering HRT only really has TATA as a prominant sponsor, you'd assume they'd want to keep them happy.

If they lay off NK, I'm think it only obvious that the TATA cash will go bang! Then again, whats Redbull throwing their way?

I can't believe he is that desperate, the car is the equivalent of a Morris Marina and we all know what that was like. It would make more sense and do his career more good if he could get a competitive drive in sportscars or Indy, possibly beating
Antonio Liuzzi does'nt prove anything to anybody.

i don't get it, why the big fuss? reb bull wants to see the guy in action and hispnia needs cash, so a place was made available, if he could handle him well during a race even with a low pace car if he's a good driver he'll show some skills and if he beats tonio or d'ambrosio then red bulls will know that the guy's wordy of a str place and replace Jaime further more you get a lot more race experience even in a slow car that doing some friday practices i for one don't see nothing else to it, if you guys know more please share
