He has to weigh up the pros and cons. RBR may have a championship winning car this year, but will they have one next year. Yes, with AN, there is a good chance. But he also has to consider the position HM and CH have in RBR and the fact that they are very pro SV. He will be heading into a situation similar to what FA faced when he joined McLaren.

As good as Hamilton is I can't see why Red Bull would want to sign him. Vettel is running away with the championship because Webber is not taking points away from him. Hamilton would be trying to beat Vettel at all cost , and probably would , but them sharing the points would give the other teams a much bigger chance to surprise.

Also from the McLaren point of view they should let him go if he wants to. Nothing worse than being blackmailed every season end. The team is bigger than the driver.

a voice with experience again offering a little advice for Hamilton, after four and a half seasons of racing mostly at or near the front though you would think that he would have learned when and where he can attempt an overtake.

Some questions for everyone...

1. Who has spent the first 5 years of their F1 career in a car that won races each year?

2. Who keeps claiming to be the fastest driver in F1?

3. Who could have easily won 4 races this year matching Vettel? all it would have taken was a bit more driving skill.

4. Who through away the 2007 and 1010 WDC's by bottling it in the last races of the season (almost managed to through it away in 2008 also, thanks Timo)

5. Who is getting beaten by his team mate JB?

6. Who is addmitting that he can only win if he has the fastest car on the grid?

Incase youre unsure, the answer to all of the above is Mr Lewis Hamilton.

Dont Belive The Hype!

Wow Taipan you have some proper hate there mate.

Why dont you look at the facts, Who has out qualified who out of jenson and lewis through 2010 and 2011. Who has won the battle of race positions overall in 2010 and 2011? Who finished higher at the end of the championship in 2010 out of button and hamilton?

At the MOMENT, button is higher in the championship, do you not think thats because he forced lewis into the wall when lewis was about to breeze past the slow pretender. Then took the win because he didnt have his faster team mate in the race.
End of the season we will see who is on top

@ Lee, No hate there Lee everything I said was factual. Answer my questions honestly and you too will come up with Lewis Hamilton.

As for Button "forcing Lewis into the wall at Canada" Well if you really believe that I cant help you.

I don't have a lot of time for drivers in top teams who are always looking to move to the one that happens to be winning at the time. It's a bit like drivers in motorway jams that keep changing to the lane that seems to be moving the quickest. What do you prove by winning in a clearly superior car? Much better to help develop your current car into a winner, much a MS did at Ferrari. When he joined them, the car was a dog. What he did over the following years is part of motor sport history. Stay where you are LH, if you are as good as you say you are, you can help put the car back in front.

Well I think we also need to remeber that MW is good and doesnt seem to hold a candle to Seb. I still beleive the Mclair is ok and who knows...maybe all Loorole will do is crash faster! The introduction of a bad sportsman will be no good for the sports drink manufacturer main sponsor reputation. If Loorole leaves the Mcliars I dont think he would be as welcome back ever after the support and oppertunities they have given it. Lets see maybe said chat with AN was just a clever hoax? Lots of people wnat him banned from F1 cos of driving errors to date and bad sportsmanship.
