Hey Rob.
Good call there, i was thinking the same.
But the list would not be complete there, perhaps they should done a top ten instead!
But Jim clark is a must to feature in the top five!
Jim Clark is a great legend!
Thinking of it Come on crash.net, do this story again, but instead of calling it "Top Five British F1 Legends", Start over and do it again and include Graham Hill and call it "British F1 Legends!"
Sorry Crash.net but you have really messed this one up and put it right by starting again!

Mansell and Hunt are on the list because they were characters they were nowhere near Clark, Stewart and Moss in terms of driving ability.

Before all the Nige fans start whining he only won his world championship due to a car that was light years ahead of the rest of the grid and a team mate that was as slow as a week in the jail by that point of his career. The fact that nobody in F1 would give him a decent drive after he won the WDC should tell you how highly everyone rated his championship win.

Crash, dump Mansell and Hunt and replace with G Hill and Surtees please, 2 real British F1 legends.

Mansell?! He was as dour as a dying duck with trapped wind in a thunderstorm!!!

Graham Hill or John Surtess spring to mind imediately before Nigel Mansell. Even his name is miserable!

James hunt was a character but I would call him a legend on the track. Maybe a legend in terms of partying but not racing.

Good to see nigel being recognised for the talent that he is, those that slate him should find out more about his carer!! All drivers from the time they drove themselves, not told via pit radio what to do and when
