F1 » Hamilton: Only criticism from Senna could 'affect' me

As his on-track aggression continues to come under fire, McLaren-Mercedes star Lewis Hamilton has revealed that he 'couldn't give a toss' about the opinions of F1 legends like Niki Lauda - and that the only person he would have listened to would have been Ayrton Senna...

"What Niki Lauda thinks about me, I really couldn't give a toss"

Slightly harsh considering Lauda himself apologised and said that his words were taken out of context by the media.

Time to stop the talk and start the winning.

But then again dont believe anything you read in The S*n. Total scum.

I have heard enough!
Senna is one of the all time greats, and we were robbed of a true three times world champion when he was tragically killed.
Sorry Lewis but you should not ponder what Senna would say or of thought you or your driving if he was still alive(wish senna was still here!)
Ervine once tried to out drive senna by unlapping himself, and he (Ervine) got a knuckle sandwich for being cocky!
Lewis , listen and learn from past drivers who are still with us regardless of what criticism you get, Lauda is a very lucky man to survive that nasty accident and he has got the scars to show, so Take note Lewis and listen for once!

Bang on Taipan. Comments like this are basically saying "I don't give a s**t about anyone's opinion" - pure arrogance is all it is. Hamilton needs to stop Simon Fuller from writing his scripts. His soundbites are getting worse and making him look a complete twit.

There is nothing wrong with constructive critism, which is all there has been. Sadly the press, without exception, latch onto the meaty parts and twist what has been said.

We all need a bit of advice when things are going wrong, there is nothing wrong with that. It can be difficult to accept but nearly always what is being said is true and worth taking onboard, especially when it comes from those who are extremely experienced in your chosen field.

@ tubul.
I used to be a Hamilton fan.
But i only be happy seeing Hamilton racing if he didn't wreck other peoples races for his own selfish needs!
Every Driver wants to win, but they should never take others out in the process!
And i am not having a pop at you either!
