commodore. kolles departure was announced over a week ago! but didnt say where he was going. japanese/spanish bank has taken over hrt. tata and the battery firm, did not come up with the promised money. hrt to move fully to spain....etc etc. it wouldnt surprise me if the take over was due to financial problems, and hear in mind, carabante was recently found guilty of fraud, to do with the property market.
red bull money for personal sponsorship of daniel, may help a little, but we may yet see a C team before too long. another red bull protege is showing exceptional form....vergne. won by 18 secs in recent gp2 race!

Richard it is a venture arm of a Japanese Bank
that has taken a major stakeholding in HRT.It is not a

In other words it is a equity partnership and is
being supported by the Corporate Sector.

The Venture arm is comprised of Superanuation holders and alike and is designed to assist the profile and viability of Spain monetary wise together with providing a return to the contributors.

Equity partners of this nature buy in cheap and usually exit 5/7 years with a shown profit

It was only Carabantes stakeholding that was purchased and is said to be equivalent to AUD$27M

commodore. the story that was on the websites cited tesana, a spanish bank that is owned by namura (?) as the holders of the team . but i still believe that as hrt were desperately short of spondulax, then it was in effect a take-over. could be wrong, but....

commodore. sorry if i read it the wrong way around. but my opinion is still the same. hrt have been "rescued". the failure of two of their sponsors to come up with the cash, and the agreement to run a rb protege, all point to desperation. we'll see!

No doubt about them being rescued.

In saying this the Japanese parent would
not have allowed Thesan to enter unless their
was a quid to be made so they have obviously
seen an investment with a subsequent return
to their portfolio.

They have out layed the initial funds and will now
rely on their corporate partners to support the team
and increase its viability.
