This ungrateful little rat needs to start thinking just how lucky he is. He gets paid £15m a year and whines because he only gets one day off a week! There a guys working double shifts 7 days a week just now just to keep a roof over thier families heads!
McLaren must dump this little primadonna, he does nothing but disgrace the team. I can't think of a worse way to spend £15m a year.

what a loud mouthed prat, a bit more effort on the track
and a lot less off track would be a smart move.
there are plently of others that will sign for less money and keep their mouth shut and let their driving do the talking

boo hoo hoo. Try working until 12-1am pouring pints serving drunks for only 5.65 an hour. 1/2 lunch break and up to 10hr shifts. Not like they are not bending over backwards for you. I am sure there were days years ago when they were funding you and they wondered was it worth it. You are a talented driver no doubt... just stop saying stupid sh!t please

BBC this weekend has seen him doing loads of promo work...directing a fashion shoot and messing about on a jet ski....

If he is doing more promotional work than others then he is right to insist on changes to his next contract. He needs to have the same amount of preparation and rest as his rivals. It might only be photoshoots or interviews but if Vettel etc are resting, training or working in the simulator then Lewis and no doubt Jenson as well are at a disadvantage.

Taipan, what has someone working double shifts seven days a week got to do with lewis? F1 is entertainment, and as we all know entertainers are very well paid, be it f1, football, tennis, pro golf, film/rock stars. Its not lewis hamiltons fault that so called sport stars are paid in millions.

Should it not be a question as to if Mclaren decide to offer the cretin a new contract that they will do the dictating of the terms? After all they hold all the cards as it would seem Red bull have no desire for the odious idiot.

Not only LH succeeded to cut any chance of an eventual future McL cont prolongation through such a statement but he might be a non grata dude for some other team as well.Ofcourse my view is only valid unless he will not retract this statement by this evening time :P
