Could in-season testing return to F1?

I think monday after race would be ideal time to test new parts for cars as they will have all the times from weekend to see if its worth going down that track or back to the drawing board and everyone is already there

F1 motor racing is just like any other sport say football. You cant ban teams from practising at their own free will and expect the game of soccer to improve. It is not going to be. Testing should be allowed to all drivers and all teams.The argument of now is that you want to save smaller teams. This shallow sightedness does exactly the opposite. Smaller teams will not do better and will eventually fold up and leave.
