Virgin Racing has agreed a long-term technical partnership with McLaren as the team strives to make its mark in Formula One.

The agreement allows Virgin access to McLaren facilities, including test rigs, driver simulator and wind tunnel, the latter especially relevant as their cars have previously been designed by computer. The partnership will also see McLaren management and production staff embedded within Virgin, working in roles permitted by the Concorde Agreement.

With such a strong partner, advancing into the midfield may not be out of Virgins reach .

Of course they are but was that not always their intention? As far as the 'special session' I love watching your parliament debate. Wish it were more like that over here. Take our 'Obama' and stick him up in front of congress and do a bit of explaining. That would be nice. :)

Yes they could well be in the midfied next year,it is shame that Timo is not in a better car though as he would be in the top 10 quite alot just like he used to be.

I always hope to hear that Glock is moving to a stronger team like Renault or Mercedes but all I get is news that pretty much tells me he is staying. Glock, why can't you just move and fight for the WDC because you're definitely better than some of the drivers up there?

When he says midfield he means the midfield of the backmarkers, between Lotus(or whatever they are called this week, you know the green one's) and Hispania........which is exactly where they are now!

tim o'glock really deserves a better drive. i would like to see him in the sauber or even an str. if he can make it in one of these, he could end up in one of the top teams, or maybe even merc?
