Why is Alonso the best paid driver on the grid?

Oh I remember, 27 wins, 2 World Championships, the abiity to take a poor car and make it better, the ability to lead a team, and he never, ever whines about his team, no matter what the car is like because he is a PROFESSIONAL.

Taipan some find it hard to admit what they see with there own eyes, because alonso doesnt go racing as spectacularly as lh, and perhaps not the blistering pace of vettel, they cant bring themselves to admit that he is that good. All of that and as you said, proffesional. He is all about the racing and nothing else.

briatore built up his young alonso to get where he is now in the most famous f1 team i congratulate briatore as a good manager as well as berger looking after vettel in the early days yes briatore has done a few dodgy mooves but what team has not especially ron dennis

Pitstop, I'll agree with anyone that makes a sensible comment, even if they are afflicted by the Lulu bug at times. I even agreed with one of Rob's comments once (I think)
