Brilliant drive by the top three. But saying that hamilton had the "balls" to pass alonso is nonsense. He had the TIRES and momentum to pass alonso, nothing else. Half the grid made that maneuver in that same place during the race. It was nothing spectacular. Thank the devil he didnt crash into anyone. The top three almost had the same race pace and I think this marks what would be the start of actual racing this season. Hopefully, someone would catch vettel before the season is over. IMHO, the current standings shows that only alonso would have that chance.

Well said Tagoy I couldn't agree more. When Webber tried to pass Lulu at the same place Lulu ran wide, bumped wheels and came close to pushing Webber off the track. Alonso accepted that he was on cold tyres and did not bother defending a lost cause.
With 2 seconds and a first in his last 3 races Alonso is the man to watch.

I will be worried if I were Alonso, Vettel or Webber. The last thing you want is for Lewis to have the same car as you and It seems mclaren are getting their car back into order. Of the current grid, the only way to beat Lewis is to have a better car than him otherwise he will obliterate these guys if they all have the same car in terms of performance.

@acruid

I did not belittle hamiltons win. In fact I commended the performance of the top three. It is just my opinion that there was nothing spectacular about his pass on alonso as it is the same overtake others has done in the race plus the fact that alonso just got out of the pit. You have been watching this sport long enough to know that when a car gets out of the pit it cannot easily defend itself from those who are already on track with warm tyres and near max speed. Not here to argue, it's just my opinion.

Cant understand people who say Hammi's pass on Alonso was overrated because Alonso tyres weren't at track temperature, but yet Lewis in the same position was able fend off Webber when he was on warmer tyres and tried to pass Lewis, some people on here need to remove their blinkers and start showing lord Hammi fealty.
