F1 » Chandhok: I think I've done enough to warrant another go

Karun Chandhok believes that he did 'enough' at the Nürburgring last weekend to 'warrant another go' in a race situation for Team Lotus - as he reveals that 2011 is all about 'taking one step back to move two forward'

Chandhok did nothing at all! What did he win until now? A karting race with some friends maybe....
How can he say that knowing that there are guys like alvaro parente that won the wsr and the British f3 and lots of gp2 races...

I would take a 65 year old Trulli over Chandock.

I cannot stand him, at all. Watch his face when anyone else is talking... He expects the praise and attention that others have earned.

I see this man as very similar to Karthekayen, and that is nothing more than a pay driver with minimal talent.

I would rather see Team Lotus auction off the seat, race by race
What a waste!

You have to admire his balls though, in saying '2011 is about taking one step back to move two forward'. You see, that means his embarrassingly dismal, pedestrian and error-strewn performance was DELIBERATE, folks, and that if he gets another chance he'll take 'two steps forward' and thus almost certainly win from pole. I'm glad he's explained all that because otherwise it would just have looked like he was a pay driver with no real pedigree floundering hopefully out of his depth in F1.

However, taking a brief respite from the 'lowest form of wit', his race seat promotion was a shame because with Ricciardo replacing NK for Silverstone, we had in GB arguably had one of the strongest grids in F1 I can remember.

He deserves to be given another chance i think,i wonder if Antony Davidson will ever get another chance at F1 again now,it would be shame if he does not.
