F1 » Hamilton: We’re in the fight

Lewis Hamilton: At one stage during Q3 I was up: I had half a tenth in reserve. But then I went a little bit wide, which triggered a big oversteer moment, and the result was that I lost that crucial bit of time.

Of the top three teams, mclaren are the hardest on tyres, lewis first run in q3 saw him have to perform what was admitedly a beautiful drift around the final turn, and despite running wide on his final flyer both mclarens where the quickest through sector three, i think though that unless one of the macs can take the lead off the line they may struggle to hold on to those positions tommorow

I doubt that Hamilton can pass Vettel at the start with being on the 'wrong side', but I would be surprised if Jenson has the aggression to drive around Lewis as well, so he could be well placed to stay with Vettel early on.

Vettel can't afford to push Lewis too hard at the start. Lewis has nothing to lose and wrecking with Vettel would mean Alonso gets his wish. And you know when Alonso needs a wreck he gets it.

Rob01 Nelson piquet will log on and press the disagree button a million times on you.

I do feel for him he was put in a very tight situation, and to make it worse they didn't keep their word and let him go.
