Yup ...tats the reason I love Mclaren...senna vs prost, alonso vs hamilton ,button vs hamilton....U dont see it nywhere else ....Go Macca Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a typical McLaren statement but you have got to ask yourself is it the sensible way to go re drivers. Webber is second in the WDC without a win and Hammo has two wins and trails behind him. So all the time Macca are spreading the "joy" Vettel is slipping further up the road unhindered. Generally though its the reason why I love Macca and always will. But as a follower I have to accept that this policy will not always deliver WDCs, even if they have the best car and/or two WDCs driving for them, but it always provide top driver partnerships, controversial issues and good racing.

It's good to hear a team say NO order's for either driver. I think this might be different if one of their drivers was winning the championship, but even so, 2 racing drivers racing... Is that not what everyone wants, to see team mates battling it out, and then going on th win. More of that please, and other teams please take note....

1 constructors championship in 19 years and 3 drivers championships in 19 years, with that record it suggests team orders have their merits.

McLaren (Ron Dennis) have a long history of not being able to manage drivers, Prost-Lauda, Prost-Senna, Alonso-Hamilton, 2 drivers supposedly equal but Ron always had his favorite and it usually caused chaos and one driver always had to leave.

Mclaren always play this way & is very good,but in the 90s Mansell & Nelson Pique fought for wins as team mates only to see Alain Prost Win the Championship.

I don't care for how it affects the championship, it makes for bloody entertaining racing, rather than knowing that both or one aren't giving their all.

Duh don't tell us it's not team orders, but they playing pitstop orders, we are not blind, how many stop Hamilton has Hungery 6 and Buton 3, so what that is telling u what a joke

what mclaren are saying in fact reinforces the idea that team orders should prevail. i dont like them, but having two reasonably equal drivers is not a good idea, as each will take points from the other, meaning that neither will win. look how when they had alonso and lulu, they oh so nearly lost the wdc.
having a good top driver and a solid second string appears to be the way to go, alas. ferrari have always gone this route, and have gained from it.

Good Stuff Mcl. They let them race all season, so much better than RBR & Ferrari. Also it shows that both Mcl drivers have the same equipment and are well matched in speed which is why they are close enough to race each other so often
