F1 » More to come, insists Ricciardo

Despite a respectable start to his career as an F1 racer, Daniel Ricciardo recognises that he is far from reaching his full potential.

dr only finished ahead of tonio due to the troubles that tonio had. he even confirmed this in his post race interview!
tonio was knocked into a spin at the start, and there was damage. not sure if he pitted with this or not. subsequently he had to call to pits for a new nose wing. then he made the same bad call as webber and ferdi, calling in for inters and having to call in again to revert to slicks. dr had NONE of these problems.
and as for dambrosio. did you not see his handbrake turn in the pits, and the car having to be manhandled, losing him a minute at least.
at least dr is being honest when he says he has not the pace of tonio yet.

There's no question he has the raw talent, but I think some of the other good (and increasingly rare in F1) qualities that Daniel shows are humility and gratiousness. He's certainly not as polarizing as some of the other highly talented drivers on the grid such as Hamilton, Alonso and Vettel.

He reminds me a little of Button, in that I can't recall any negative comments (at least in crash.net comments sections) levelled at either of them and I expect Ricciardo will follow in that same style of universal likeability.

He has his head screwed on well for his age and obvious talent. I hope he goes far.

reality. if you do as you suggest and click on my name, you will see that i dont give a jot as to where a person comes from, so why pick on australians?? and for your info, i have a number of relations and friends in oz, and have been over there. some of my friends would be more influential than yourself, so get over it.
i dont have a sad life. i have a very good life, but i reckon that the one with a sad life is the one who has to post attacks on another poster.
