if ferrari can give him what they gave schumacher, most of the drivers on the grid, and even fans who dont like him will celebrate any driver passing him as if it was the greatest pass ever, speaks volumes!

Briatore should know how good he is - he is the man that organised the Singapore GP fix to give this genius a win! I think he should keep his discredited mouth shut - Alonso is a good driver who does not need comments such as this from a person who has lost all credibility.

Bryan, do you not realise that Alonso was as guilty as Britore ?

He went along with a strategy that was clearly specific to the faked crash, allegedly without ever questioning it.

have you ever listened to his radio transmissions ? If so, it will be very clear that he would have questioned it closely and remarked on it, impossible therefore that he was not part of the charade.

Show me a top driver on the grid who hasn't been embroiled in some form of severe controversy and I will show you a unicorn...

Let Singapore go. The people who know exactly what happened aren't talking and the people who are talking know only a few bits and pieces and are filling in the blanks with personal views and treating it as gospel.

Here's a thought, 2007 and 2008 are in the past, LETS LEAVE IT THERE!!

The Fat One is right.

No really, he's right about Alonso. He is the strongest driver out there and would happily take the title year after year should Ferrari provide him with a good enough car.

Don't want to get on anybody's toes, but Vettel and Hamilton are no match for the Alonso package. I'm talking speed, precision, consistency, and mind.

Those two are a bunch of schoolgirls when it comes to keeping it together in tough times. They're both as fast as it gets, but not much else.

I don't get it why people only compare drivers based on their speed...

PitStop put those lulu specs down!

Ferrari stated if alonso had anything to do with crashgate they wouldn't sign him, remind me again what car he drives again?.?.

Alonso could well be up there with the elite as much as hammy fans dont wana hear it alonso is the better package. Just ask team bosses.

More worryingly Briatore hits the press releases when a certain someone wants to hand him a job, I see a CEO of the Ethics Ltd company or some Sky related job on the horizon.

Why do we have to read what a F1 has been thinks about issues in F1, what standing does he have other than friend off ?
