New York could yet play host to an F1 race to give America two events on the calendar

Maybe you should wait for the Austin circuit to be finished before making your stupid 'hillbilly' comments. Work is progressing quickly and Austin is no backwoods location. If those other circuits you mention could host an F1 race then there was nothing to stop them from trying.

The Daytona International Speedway would be an ideal location on paper, but the sad thing is that the course is not up to current standards. They have repaved the course this year, and have the stadium seating and arrangments to do it, but the road course is not up to par with other tracks. It's a shame to because Daytona is one of the tracks known around the world. What they don't know is that not many updates have been done to the track since its prime.

No, no, no. Not another street circuit. We already have too many. If you were to say that Valencia and Singapore would be removed, I might be reconsider. What we want are races on proper race circuits not in cities with no run off areas, just to rake in the revenue.
