I'm no Lewis fan(just look at my past posts),but I also hate to see Vettel( or any driver for that matter) get WAY out front and run away with a race or Championship. It reminds me of SO many boring Schumacher races I've sat through. Vettel may have a big points lead, but nothing is ever a lock.So I hope the MClaren boys can continue their run in the 2nd half. At very least it makes the racing what it should be , exciting

McLaren do not apply team orders overtly like Ferrari or Red Bull . However, MaLaren do apply team orders by stealth using tire and race strategy . Will Hamilton or Button win out ? That is the question .

Well if they allowed mid season testing there wouldnt be one team run away with the the title at the beginning of the season. By the time the others have caught up its virtually over. 3 straight years this has happened now.
Whoever has the package right at the first couple of races will win the title. Thats the way it seems to be.
Vettel has got this unless he's stupid, which i think he isnt. he almost lost it last year but i think he has learnt his lesson.

Taipan posts I have been reading for a few weeks now
seem to be stuck on one position. His anti Hamilton
rant trumps what really is going on this season. We
have some super exciting close racing, with much more to come. I hope the drivers at Mercedes can join the
fight among the top five. Would be nice to see Shumey
have a few good rounds this time out.
Improvement would be to let the drivers use that GRS
wing thing at any time after the lap 5. The FIA and the Stewards should lighten up some and let the guys race. Be a little more liberal in deciding what is a racing incident or a situation that is a deliberate flaunting of the rules.
Been on a short vacation (not really) ready for the season's second half..

The fact is that if Lewis wins four of the remaining races and comes second in the other four, with Seb averaging points for 4th (ie 12 points) for the rest of the season, Seb will still win the WDC.

I suspect Seb is very cognisant of the fact that he just needs to finish each race with good points and not crash out. I think we can expect his driving will not be as dynamic as the other contenders because for him it is all about being consistently in the points and not risking a non finish.
