At the half way stage of the season the positions are about right in my eyes, with the exception of Delrosa. Something is radically wrong when a driver who has one race and finishes up in 18th position. He could be in that position at the end of the season, even if he never races again.
Dose anyone agree with me, that this way of evaluating
the positions of the drivers and the teams has its flaws and is unfair. Could I suggest a more fairer way would be to give points all the way to 20th position and that would show a true reflection over the whole season, especially for the constructors championship. If that was in place now, Lotus and Virgin would be on the same number of points, although Lotus would be ahead on times they came home in front of Virgin.

Note to Crash.net (and others) - qualifying form does not a racer make. Maldonado may have outqualified Barrichello more often than not, but that just makes the fact that Rubens has walked all over him in the races even more impressive, beating him 6-1 in races where they've both finished. Frankly, Barrichello is all that is keeping Williams ahead of the "new" teams.

Timo Glock should leave Virgin. He was the victim of bad timing with Toyota going under and ended up dumped on the scrapheap, his stock is slowly slipping and people are forgetting about his skill as a driver.
Signing a new deal is the stupidest thing he's ever done.

it was supposed to be timo and kunica at renault. but he go scared that they were quitting f1. so since no one else wanted to go there, renault took on vitaly.

it's unfair to call maldonado just a pay driver, alonso currently has a the biggest sponsor in f1, is he just a pay driver? Pastor the gp2 champion. so he is the top newcomer for this year. since williams gives all gp2 champions a free test as a reward, he might have gotten the seat without the money, because they had already made up their mind to dump hulkenberg. Even though hulkenberg moped the floor with maldonado when they were teammates in gp2.
