It's a fair comment that drivers should have reached a specific level after 3 years, but isn't it about time that Toro Rosso showed this clown Tost the door? He is way out of his depth and doesn't do anything to support his drivers. Still what can you expect from a former bag carrier for Ralf Schumacher? Please get him out of F1.

This guy is so arrogant maybe if the car was up with Red Bull they would be doing a lot better... anyway i hopew Alguersuari stays... I've become a fan of his

I'll say both drivers do not deserve seat next year because after 3 years they do not achieved what they should be. So it's time to give away the Toro Rosso steats to new talent drivers.
Both drivers are bitching each other all the times rather than competitive drive in race.

The biggest problem for the Toro Rosso drivers is that Vettel managed to get a win with them in Monza a few years ago. The car was better then (they were sharing a lot of design with Red Bull back then), but it isn't so good now. No driver now in a Toro Rosso is going to match Vettel's effort in a better car years ago, so this team is becoming something of a kiss of death to a driver's career. Also, both drivers are fairly evenly matched, so neither is dominating, so it seems to Tost that neither is good enough. I don't think Toro Rosso is the best team to be in for an up-and-coming driver.

So, a soon to be bankrupt Spanish Bank is offering big sponsor cash to keep alguesari, so Buemi is under threat ?

Sounds familiar, will they pay Buemi to conveniently go to the WRC ?

Alguesari's results have mainly come from lucky tyre strategies, SB has been the better driver, been watching closely, but it is the typical way the spanish behave.

Alguersuari was lucky with strategies? :o And may I ask what about Buemi clearly lucking into points in Melbourne, Monte Carlo and Montreal? Jaime made those 2 stop strategies work not like his teammate, who managed his tyres in Valencia and Montreal worser... It is the same situation as last year - Alguersuari fixed his problems and become the faster and better from both, again... And btw. he doesn t need to moan constantly in media like Buemi, who just can t get used to the fact that somebody could be better then him...

Quality of F1 drivers is like a pyramid - few at the very, very top, some that are great, more that are good, plenty who are average. Neither Buemi nor Alguersuari have given me reason to believe they will reach the peak the way Alonso and Vettel did in lesser teams.

But the fact is, only one driver can win each championship and there's an awful lot of "good" or even "great" drivers who end up as also-rans because they don't quite reach the peak, even in potentially winning cars... Webber, Massa, Barrichello, Fisichella, Trulli, Coulthard... But that doesn't mean they don't deserve a seat somewhere!

Tost..I expect him to best Liuzzi after not more than three or four races.”

Well the new one at HRT has had a couple outing. I don't think he has bested Liuzzi yet. Wait until Brazil then we can review his performance. I think Mr. Tost is underestimating Liuzzi, I really think poor judgement on his part, time will tell.
Time for the people at Torro Rosso to try some new
hopefuls. What about that guy from Willams, The Hulk.
Not enough money I bet, sorry situation in F1.
