The Stirrer - probably best to look into the various good causes that Schumacher has donated huge sums of money too before commenting.

Apparently, MrE is hoping that Schumacher lands a management role once he has finished racing. His huge amount of experience would be a real advantage.

The.English.Sheep - if you read what Peter Sauber has said, he has never asked for, expected or wanted the money back!

Errr, what are you on about? Sauber said "WE" paid to get him that seat. That does not mean he took money out of his own pocket. I would assume it was Merc who stood for the dollars in the Sauber-Mercedes project. Or possibly the sponsors, who wanted to give their protege some experience. I am sure Peter Sauber made a healthy living from his work with the Mercedes' sports car effort.

The real reason behind Sauber statement is that at least one of his drivers will be able to finish ahead of one of the Mercedes as long as MS is in one of them. So Schumacher is still of benefit to Sauber !

Can't replicate his form? All he needs to do is hide traction control in his car again and he'd be back to his winning/cheating ways.

Schumacher is a disgrace.

It seems to me that 20 years are enough, isn't it? I think he should not continue in the 2012 season because it no longer behaves like Schumi did we enjoy them all.

Look at this contest where you can win 2 tickets for the GP of Abu Dhabi. It would be a good time to think it's one of the last races of this man h ttp://www.youtube.com/formulasantander

For F1 itself Schumacher is still a benefit. And the fact he is just shows how bereft F1 is of talent and characters. That is not a slight on Schumacher as I take my hat off to him to be able to do what he is doing at the level he is at his age, and coming back to boot. But really there should be no room for the likes of Schumacher, Trulli and Reubens in modern F1. As the "pinacle" of four wheeled motorsport F1 should be awash with talented drivers pushing for the top and chracters that draw people in. Unfortunately modern F1 falls far short in both areas.
