Michael Schumacher

To come from stone last to finish 5th is quite an achievement, especially in that sub-stardard Merc of his.

Brilliant drive, some great overtakes and he outraced his teammate Rosberg who started 5th and was leading the race for the first few laps!

Take a bow Schumi, the King of Spa, the Master and the deserved driver of the day.

Being ob jective, it really has to be Schumacher. He's been building up to this for a few races now. It all really came together today. The past few races were blighted by a couple of scrapes and little mistakes, but they were all pointing to a much-improved Schumacher. Anyone who thinks he's lost his nerve, ability or desire should really think again. I have had my opinion of his future chances changed by this race - did everyone else watch the onboard of his first lap? Slower cars etc, but the vision and the moves were pretty awesome. He also had a good strategy - something else that seems to have been missing recently. Maybe the new engineer will make a big difference, too. I doubt he'll win the title again, but if that Merc gets a bit better it could bring a podium this season - and a win next? I can't see Schumacher considering his future after this race.

Button had to come from 20th(check replay) not 13th Schumi substatially benefitted from the 1st corner debacle, which Jens was "lucky"(check replay) not to have been seriously injured by the wing taking his mirror.

Button and Schumacher were both very impressive to be fair with both doing a great job. Having said that I have to go with Button but only just. Schumi did great but for me Button did end up having to overtake more cars after the stuff at the first corner. Both put in awesome drives today.
