Martin Whitmarsh has once again been forced to defend Lewis Hamilton in the wake of the McLaren-Mercedes star's latest crash-bang-wallop outing in F1 2011 in last weekend's Belgian Grand Prix

pretty hard to defend someone who's driving like a rookie, he's cost himself and his team a bundle of points this season. without doubt he's a talented racer but he don't half make some blunders

I sometimes think Twitmarsh does more harm than good constantly defending Hamilton when the guy himself has admitted he was wrong, it's like they feel they have to mollycoddle him.
