F1 » Ross: Lewis Hamilton is 'as charismatic as a clam'

McLaren-Mercedes star Lewis Hamilton would do well to prepare himself for a showdown with Jonathan Ross on his chat show appearance tonight, after the presenter described the 2008 F1 World Champion as being 'about as charismatic as a clam'

I'm afraid its not much help preparing for a showdown - the show was recorded on Thursday and anyway the actual quote reads "Some of us know how to get to someone who looks to be about as charismatic as a clam". Looking like and being like are quite different but dont let facts get in the way of a good story.

Hamilton + Ross, hardly the makings of a classic interview.

Clarkson + Hamilton was an entertaining interview.

When the interviewer understands what the interviewee does/likes it generally turns out well.

Ross + Hamilton reminds me of Wogan + Bill Gates- mismatch!

In fact jonathon ross meant that he can get even the most uncharismatic people to talk. He never directly referred to Lewis in that way. Anyone who has even a basic grasp of how to read English can easily see this.

Also If Lewis was viewed in such way....ITV and Ross wouldntve got Lewis to appear on the 1st comeback show. The 1st shows especially Ross', always need to pack a punch with box office guests to get the viewers...and Lewis is definately one.

This site is a
