Damn I'd put money on them scoring points as well...

Loutus don't half flatter to decieve. I know coming into formula one is hard but you've told us about all the steps forward you're making... and delivered nothing. By this stage in their second year Force India were an established midfield team. At least Virgin and HRT aren't pretending that they're getting somewhere. Lotus need improvements, having drivers of the calibre of Heikki and Jarno won't happen again if they don't improve soon.

McQ...ForceIndia received a massive load of help from McL and Merc when they recorded those points. They have been sitting on their hands since. Only looking decent due to the second tier of F1 being so bad.

Fernandes should stick to the Air-line business where he is no fool, but he thought he could come into F1 and rise to the top quickly. But he joined up with Gascoyne the sports highest paid loser and for that alone I to think Fernandes is a fool, even his PR dept has gone to sleep thank goodness.

Also with the Force India comparisons, don't bother. Force India was a winner in the past in it's Jordan guise... then suffered and languished with Midland and Spyker before turning into the current form now. They had the resources from the get go

Team Lotus however started from scratch, and looking at where they are compared to Virgin & HRT, they've done a damn fine job and Heikki has reached Q2 on merit.

I like the progress they're making and I think next year they will be able to challenge for 8th to 10th place on a regular basis. It takes time to become a winner and they're on the right path.

@ steve you must know something we dont about the future of F1

I think next year they will be able to challenge for 8th to 10th place

F1 to have just 5 teams perhaps

as for progress Zero points thats not progress, DNF p18 p19 etc dont compare them with the 2 teams that spend a tenth of their budget compare them to the teams they stated they would be challenging even Williams running on zero budget and drivers not good enough for F1 are still in front of them. Team Lotus should have picked them off this season if their plan was on track. I hope the rumours of Gascoyne going are true then maybe we will see an improvement
