F1 2011 championship standings post-Italian Grand Prix.

"Vettel now has 284 points on the board - 112 more than Fernando Alonso, who moves up to second in the standings. Jenson Button is joint third with Mark Webber, both with 167 points..."

I wish Crash would actually post the points rather than have us have to do the math to work out the gap between Button-Webber and Alonso. By the way, it's 5 points (Alonso 172 to Button-Webber 167).

Should this race have been taken place 30 or 40 years before-ie Jochen Rindt age-SV would be WDC by now.Me think even earlier maybe.
Anyway, the same level as one of the MSC's best times at least !

Quite interesting to see where they stood last year and now.
Only the top 3 scored more points then last year at this stage.
Standings after 13 Gp last year and now.

Vettel: 2010: 151 3th. 2011: 284 1st (+133)
Alonso: 2010: 141 5th. 2011: 172 2nd (+31)
Button: 2010: 147 4th. 2011: 167 3th (+20)
Webber: 2010: 179 2nd. 2011: 167 4th (-12)
Lewis.: 2010: 182 1st. 2011: 158 5th (-24)
