Luca di Montezemolo has again raised the prospect of running three cars in F1 as a means of getting around the restrictions on testing.

The ban on in-season testing was Montezemolo's idea, from when he was chairman of FOTA and was part of FOTA's resource restriction agreement.

3 car teams, why not a return to 1 car teams as well.

But then again Monty did say F1 fans spend Sunday afternoons at the beach ... What's the colour of the sky on Monty's planet.

Didn't think I'd ever agree with anything this guy says but I do, aerodynamics has become far to important and the racing would be so much better if half of it was taken away, faster straights, slower corners, longer breaking distance and less traction would make some very interesting races. Maybe with cars more like this you don't need the gadgets just skills.
