I thought he's gone bonkers for a second and meant Bruno.

Nice of him to give a nod to Senna with regards to awesome qualifying laps, he's superb himself though, his laps when the engine could only do one run were fantastic.

Well, to all the people debating with me about comparing Seb to Senna and especially with regards to quali - Even Vettel agrees with me !!! No matter what Seb does with the best car and how many poles he gets, Senna will always be the quali master - whether in the best car or a crap car. Thanks Seb, big respect for saying that and the bloke just raised my opinion of him in doing so.

With Renault nailing themselves to Red Bull, siting 'working on fantatic aerodynamic packages', future combined gearbox and transmission projects, along with Horner describing RBR as Renaults factory team, a good chance that Renault will produce a reasonable turbo, Adrian Newey allegedly looking forward to the partnership and feeling loved, 'the finger' is young enough to point at any doubters a whole lot more before he even considers getting fitted for a red suit at monza.ung enough to point at any doubters a whole lot more before he even considers getting fitted for a red suit at monza.

Have to give the young man credit: not only is he a great driver but he is also incrediably humble. This combination makes him a deserving world champion.

Car usually deserves credit... Especially in last decade, where F1 is more about Technical Element than Human Element.
But when it comes to winning poles, and that too so consistently, you got to have something special.

Seb shouldn't be overrated because of this success but I hate that some people give credits to everything around him but not to him (saying in general).

Of course the car plays an important role, as well as who your team-mate is. Mansell being the current record holder of points per season is further testament to that, really. Webber and Patrese are/were both able pilots but clearly number twos in their respective teams, whereas Senna never clearly enjoyed the same combination of superior car and support from a number two driver. Which makes his quali stats all the more impressive.
