Red Bull Racing team principal Christian Horner has asserted that the current F1 pace-setters are now to all intents and purposes the 'factory team of Renault Sport' in the top flight

A Red Bull/Renault connection can work like the Mclaren/Mercedes in the 90's. No factory team but an engine supplier.

If Renault is willing to keep in the sport by supplying engines like in the 90's, it's a win-win for Red Bull.

I think that we are going to see alot of intra-team sales going forward.

Buying the Renault engine, RBR gearbox/suspension, and KERS will allow any team to buy a proven advantage.

I think they should be allowed to buy chassis tubs as well. Most aero dev is wings, and floor. Selling the backmarker teams good drivelines and tubs would help tighten the field ALOT, and allow RBR, Ferrari, and McLaren to make some money...
