F1 » Heidfeld: I will be asking around


Nick Heidfeld insists that he is not done with F1, even though doors are closing around him.

Nick, you have very good opportunity to cure your depression.
I realized that 3 weeks ago, watching your pictures of the last few years. You can cheat you smile, but your eyes betrey you.

Well he did have a valid contract.
What is really funny here is the fact the
guy really can out pace at lease half
of the grid. It's about money again...
Nick got the shaft, F1 style.

In F1, it has been easier for a fast driver to stop crashing than for a safe driver to go faster. Look at the development of Montoya, Massa, and even those with such high peaks as Schumacher, Alonso, Hamilton and Vettel. Unfortunately Heidfeld has run out of time, there are too many drivers around that are faster than him. He had his day at BMW, edged Kubica yes but look at how much more experience he had at the time. I don't expect to see him back in a competitive seat ever again.
