F1 » McLaren: 'Too early to bail out' on F1 2011 title

A true want to be F1 legend will still want to aspire to try and beat MS's 91 victories and 154 podiums. WDC decided, those victories are still won one at a time. Any other attitude doesn't deserve a ride.

@disagree
so they should all just throw in the towel and let Vettel circle the track by himself? You sure don't seem to understand that the desire to win is why champions race.

@walrus - it is not that they should throw in the towel it is that they should just concentrate on race wins and see what happens. In their current position wins mean more than just racing for points.

@mark
That was exactly my original point that was disagreed with:
"A true want to be F1 legend will still want to aspire to try and beat MS's 91 victories and 154 podiums. WDC decided, those victories are still won one at a time. Any other attitude doesn't deserve a ride".
My point is/was: WDC being lost, concentrate on personal victories.
I guuess the bar set so high by Shumi invallidated my objective
