button sat out over half of fp2 as he had a "straight-on" and couldnt find reverse. so he was out! before that, he had been on pace.
schumi was over 2 secs a lap slower than seb. however, it is only practice, so lets wait for quali

@ norville, I'm pretty sure Button didn't do much running after putting in his first lap time which was well before Hamilton set his I believe. Only problem Button has is less track time. Before stopping for the session he seemed to be on the pace.

Looks like Vettel is faster by a long long way. Can't see anyone stopping him.
The curbs were raised in the chicane because people were straight-lining it and it wasn't slowing them down at all. Smashing into the wall is less safe though.

Fernando Alonso is the master of Marina Bay,having won here twice and finishing third with the uncompetitive Renault R29.In heavy fuel he was the fastest driver on the grid.
