F1 » Hamilton not content to 'just exist' like Barrichello

For what seems like the umpteenth time this season, McLaren-Mercedes star Lewis Hamilton has opened his mouth and courted controversy, this time accusing Williams rival Rubens Barrichello of being 'content with just existing' in F1

To all those clueless persons who thinks that Lewis's wdc was luck. How do you win an f1 campaign with 18 races over a season by luck? I suppose Lewis defeating the 2009 reining wdc in 2010 was also luck, and with 5 races to go Lewis is still Mclaren's no1 driver until the 2011 season ends.

ronnie. you should change your name to rons silver boy, as jenson is obviously the new golden boy at macca! jenson was given new front end updates with new front uprights, new brakes, new front wing etc. it is obvious that jenson is now the favoured one.

I've been a big fan of Hamilton as a driver since he entered F1. His rookie and WDC seasons were exciting to watch. I'm not sure exactly where his head has gone since then though. Obviously McLaren haven't had the best car the last few years, but if not for several of the mistakes (singapore and monza come immediately to mind) he made last season the final result may well have been different.

I understand the desire to overtake, and even more so the frustration of having to sit behind a slower car holding you up, but its better to lose a few seconds and pick the right spot to overtake rather than putting your car in jeopardy. Learn to temper your raw pace with some patience Lewis, 18 points is better than a DNF, and for Pete's sake, keep your mouth shut in public. You don't need to be taking shots at your fellow drivers. Furthermore, we all understand the car isn't as fast as the Red Bull. If you have an issue with mistakes the team have made regarding strategy or WHATEVER, have that

have that converstion behind closed doors. You haven't exactly been mistake free the last two seasons and it makes you look a bit foolish to call out the team for a mistake, then turn around and run your wing into the Ferrari.

Sorry i've gone a bit long winded.

What's wrong with just existing? I think every human being is content with that.
It's like people on this site, who just exist to make interesting comments to stir things up.

Over the long haul Hamilton has been outclassed by the classier Button. Who would really want this petulant primadonna should he choose to fly the coupe?

I have a new nickname for Lewis. "Michael plastic boy"
Plastic is a great material for one purpose and very hard to get rid of when its celebrity date is used. He does not want to win races. He wants to be the big boy. THe BAD ****.
If you look at Lewis he is looking more like Michael Jackson everyday. I have a suspicion that at 150 MPH cosmetic surgery melts and gets in his Eye. That would explain the crashes.
