F1 » Hamilton not content to 'just exist' like Barrichello

For what seems like the umpteenth time this season, McLaren-Mercedes star Lewis Hamilton has opened his mouth and courted controversy, this time accusing Williams rival Rubens Barrichello of being 'content with just existing' in F1

@ Jono Jones - Dont bring racism into it. The only person to bring racism into F1 was Lulu after he was penalized again for causing more accidents. If he doesn't want penalties, then stop crashing into people.
Hammi these days is just a muppet and Obama is a puppet.

Mr Hamilton just wants to feel good knowing that a younger Vettel is about to rack up his 2nd world title and claim youngest double world champ in the record books. Which is what hamilton is after.

Again and again some of the die hard fans of Lewis cannot see the wood for the trees. Its not about it being unfair, its not about "yeah but when the same happened" blah blah. Its about Lewis wasting his undoubted talent on controversial statements, constant whinging about the car and the team, insulting other drivers, needless accidents and mishaps etc etc. Lewis needs to clear his head and actually concentrate on his job. This is the first time he has been tested within the team by a team mate that is being given true parity and is a racing equal. This is Lewis's mettle being tested and he is not meeting the challenge at the moment. Knuckle down Lewis or face up becomming another Reubens.

kiwibob. just saw your question. the answer is YES. now, whether this was deliberate policy or not, i dont know. maybe lulu was offered the same and didnt want it, or maybe macca decided to test buttons car with mods for 2012. who knows? but it does look as if the two are not being treated equally, but which one is being favoured. i tend to believe that it is button, as he was in the stronger position in the wdc

rob. granted, but i was referring to a stronger position THAN LULU!. a couple of weeks ago, i thought that lulu would finish ahead of button in the wdc, most others disagreed, but now i am having doubts.

Strange thing for Hamilton to say as Barachello has as much chance of winning this years World Championship as Hamilton and also Hamilton is McLarens No 2 driver :-)

Although Hamilton has undoubted talent, he is too busy focusing on other people this season to focus on the championship.

He has completely taken his eye off the ball (I mean off the road :-)). While Button has been going his job quietly in the background.
