F1 » 'Fantastic' race leaves Vettel with one hand on crown

He may not quite have clinched the crown - not yet, anyway - but Red Bull Racing star Sebastian Vettel put the F1 2011 drivers' laurels all-but beyond reach of any of his adversaries with a peerless triumph under the spotlights in Singapore

Red Bull's 24th win puts them in eighth place in the list of all time winners for constructors, Benneton in seventh. Red Bull's 24th win puts them in eighth place in the list of all time winners for constructors, Benneton in seventh.

Unless some radical changes might happen in the next two years, RB will march ahead through the ranking, provided Vettel will stay in the boat. The downside however is the step reverse in Mark's case, keeping in mind that all this year's wins were dued to Seb, unlike before.

He was just SO LUCKY. He has the best car... At the start of the season DRS, KERS and Pirelli made F1 exciting, oh but Vettel made it so boring! I hope next season would be much better. I hope it rains all the time so Vettel will keep on spinning like a ballet dancer.

I'm Seb's biggest critic and I think he deserves this championship. He has driven the best in the best car.
I think next year will be very close between the top teams and Webber will be a lot closer to Vettel again when RB and Seb lose their precious EBD - The main advantage of RB that is setup around and suits Seb a lot more than Mark. 2011 is already over, bring on 2012.

@ boredf1fan

You are so wrong, why can't people like you just take it on the chin and admit Vettel is better than Hamilton as a driver and as a person, also at the start of the season RBR rarely had KERS, and why would Vettel 'spin' like a ballet dancer in the rain? Isn't that Sham's move? Have you forgotten Hungary? Don't make me laugh.

Only low class fans wish for a wreck, and even lower ones with hold respect that has been earned.

we(low class fans)didnt wish collision, just wish more entertaining race, this, means more overtaking, while vettel didnt...
he just did time trial, just vanish from start to finish line, rarely seen him did wonderful overtaking manouvers,
thats why i like jensson button, kamui kobayashi, lewis hamilton,
but 4 me jensson driving skill still the best, he often did side-by-side BEAUTIFUL overtaking manouvers without collision
this 3 drivers that kept me wathcing f1
