So many changes have been made to stop the Newey rampage and they have all failed. As long as Red Bull have their engineering master, headaches will continue to plague Domenicali .

Yup, The Mclaren before Newey got fed up with Ron and went to build yachts and changing his mind and went to Ford/Jaguar before again changing his mind and going to Red Bull.

I can't remember the exact sequence of events, can hardly remember what happened yesterday quite frankly.

Interestingly it seems like Tombazis once again has taken a more hands-on role in the design process... He's designed some pretty damn good cars before so personally I think the combination of Fry and Tombazis looks extremely promising. Not all Newey cars have set the world on fire, looking at Tombazis record I would say he is not far behind at all... Costa never really was though. Looking forward to see what the reorganised Ferrari will be capable of in 2012!

@ Taz

Air acts just like a liquid so it makes sense for Adrian to transfer his skills to designing yachts to move faster through water, and then transferring his experience learned to designing his formidable diffuser. I bet he's got a lot more winning designs in that slipstreamed head off his.

I thought Ferrari was building an unbeatable structure for next years championship. Why would they need Newey to do it. Or is it just the usual hot air that comes out of this team for the last few years.

There is more to that cars performance than the magic of Newey and Newey designs have been beaten in the past and there have been dogs.

Eventually RBR will succumb ala Benetton and natural order will resume. I hail Vettels driving, he is making the most of his opportunity and not putting a foot wrong as any of the top drivers would. But neither he or a Newey designed car is invincible as Ferrari and Macca will prove next year.

Ferrarri will be back next year with a competitive package no problem.
