F1 » Vettel claims Japan GP pole

Sebastian Vettel appeared to have been gifted pole position for the Japanese GP by errors elsewhere, but maintained Red Bull's unbeaten 2011 run.

Gifted? Not sure how. Jenson left a few ticks on the table perhaps, but he is not the type to crash trying. And that other guy (with the crashing and the pretty earrings) just didn't have the speed and/or a wristwatch.

Wade for some reason though, hamilton was slow into the start even before he was attacked by webber and schumi.

Martin said they asked him to push and avoid any one through. Schumacher said webber also slowed becaused hamilton slowed. and Hamilton would not say anything about it during the press conference since it was his fault.

ER NO, it was HAMILTON that did it to himself. LOOK at the replay, driving round at a snails pace, head in the clouds. Webber dives in and forces Schumacher almost of the track. It was Hamiltons fault, webber took advantage and Schumacher lost out the most.

There is no question that McLaren are as quick as the Bulls at Suzuka. Seb extracted everything out of the car to get pole. Lewis looked like he had his mojo back until leaving his last run too late and getting caught up with Mark and Schumi on the outlap. A very despondent looking Lewis, but P3 for the race is not too bad.

Then Hamilton accuses them of dangerous driving! MW said he lost the lap after being hussled by MW+MS let him take some responabilty! No doubt we'll get called R or something stupid like that
