Wow... that close!!! 0.009 seconds seperate Vettel and Button... interesting to hear Button say he was conserving himself until Q3 but was just beaten by Vettel... come on Jenson give us a race win and mke sure you take second in the championship.

Sad state of affairs when only 6 of the top ten post qualifying times in Q3. Maybe they should be given a five place penalty if they don't set a time in Q3 to stop them waiting until the last 3 minutes or so of the session to decide to leave the pit (or not bother at all).

Kamui Kobayashi has been upgraded to 7th on the grid because he alone of the last 4 attempted a quick lap.

Liuzzi and Rosberg were allowed a start from pitlane, due to having previous good lap times. Rosberg 1st 10 seconds after the start lights go out.

Nice to see a Japanese driver start from 7th in Japan, all he has to do now is use those passing skills and get a win. :)
