I think Schumacher ran a great race, was good to see him finishing a little higher in the standings and it bodes well for next season, if they can get him a good car. Button was the star of the race, though. Was nice to watch a race where Vettel wasn't checked out with a 10 second lead, the whole race.

Vetels start line behaviour was marginal on safety and fairness. Schumacher started the startling squeeze that is now copied at all levels even Gineta juniors. Vetel should have had a drive through to send the message that moving across the guy next to you at the start is not acceptable. There will be a big shunt off the line soon if not in F1 then in one of the lower levels because the example of F1 shows it's OK to aim across the line to block others with no regard for safety.

F1 should set a good example and it's just not happening when you force the next grid spot onto the grass

Jenson had a fabulous drive full of controlled aggression. As Martin Brundle put it, his attitude to Vettel's startline shenanigans were 'don't get mad, get even', and he did just that. Sebastian's move at the start was marginal and maybe a bit naughty but I was really impressed with how he still wanted to go after Fernando Alonso in the closing laps when championship-wise he had no need to. That's a hell of a will to win and F1 is the richer for it. Alonso just did what Alonso does - dragged a car up into places it really shouldn't have been by keeping his head and knowing just when to put pressure on the guys in front of him. Mightily impressive.

In short, it was one almighty podium XD
