Jeebus-you are missing the point. It is not about lap times. It is about getting a feel for the track in these conditions. Or do think that the guys who didn't set a time will have an advantage if the race has similar conditions?

It is meaningless because if it rains the FIA will stop the race or at least use safety car because half of these drivers won't race in the wet or practise, might make them feel a bit safer but it's crap for the fans.
