"I have only ever blamed myself. I have always felt that, in myself, if I make a mistake, I will be the first to put my hand and apologise. I have never once got out and said 'that's your fault'."
Really? I don't think it's difficult to find counterexamples, (blaming problems on perfectly clear mirrors for 'vibrating' is just one that springs to mind. Also, talking about the card of hands he's been dealt clearly implies he thinks it's just bad luck which is the reason for his relative lack of success this season, which is hardly consistent with saying that it's his responsibility for not winning in circumstances where the car was capable of it, such as when he span out in the lead.

By kidding himself that he's always taken responsibility Lewis reveals that he still hasn't managed to dig deep enough. I hope he gets away from the game long enough to have his epiphany. I'll always remember how Damon Hill recovered his form after a crash-prone 1995 season - a quick break in Bali sorted his head out in time to win the last race by 2 laps and set up his confidence for 1996.

Do you know what Pee's me off about this board, Lewis puts his hand up and admits his mistakes and this board villifies him...other drivers like Shumi never admits to his mistakes and is a hero...

But i suppose this is what i expect here..
