No for not useing the track. it was not a quick in lap
anyway. i say put him back 5 places

it wasnt an in lap. it was a slow lap before his final run. but fia found that he did not gain any advantage and there was no rule to prevent him doing that, and there is NO penalty.

Most of the English F1 sites where sort of ticklish/ed about Vettel being investigated for cutting a corner when not even doing a lap time.
They will revert gloomy mode when it sinks in that he certainly is the one with a tyre/s advantage.

Under investigation, Vettel... violate the rules...Mr. would have to drive
across center field Yankee stadium with studded snow tires.. Never going
to happen .. Right SS2009 (whatever)?
