F1 » Schumacher 'extra motivated' for India

Michael Schumacher: For the next race, we are heading to India for the first time; a country which a lot of people tell me is fascinating. I'm looking forward to experiencing this new culture and seeing the track for the first time.

In all honesty, probably not gonna happen this year unless there's rain and mayhem. But I don't doubt that we are seeing the beginning of a real threat from MS and Merc in 2012.
Looking forward to it.

Somebody should help me here.

Schumacher, WHY is he STILL driving.

Not the money, not the history books, not prestige, not adrenaline, not fame.
Is it to cause accidents, to hinder other drivers?.

Or is it the fear of anonimity????
Or of being yesterday s driver, because certainly HE IS THAT.
He has been so lucky not to have mature Alonsos or Hamiltons or maybe even Vettels do deal with in his prime.

GREAT CHAMPION IN NOBODY S ERA.

A bit like Federer before the coming of NADAL and jokovic

Actually i am wrong, Federer deserves much more credit than this comparison.

Ciao.

Should Haug be asking what level of motivation Michael has been giving up to now?
For the money Merc is paying he should be giving 100% all the time. If theres more to give as a team boss I would be asking why its not been given until now??

I am not going to say what a stupid question about why is Schumi still driving, as obviously some people just don't get what this great man is capable of.

Even if you are a top marque company like Mercedes,it still takes a huge amount of technical knowledge, the skill and brains of the best technicians and aerodynamicists to get the impetus needed to motivate ALL the workers into a driven team co-ordinated in all aspects, and, able to get a car that will be the absolute 100% best on the grid.
BUT,to do this they need a top driver, but not just a driver who is only interested in driving and personal fame, but one who has the motivation and the skill to gel all these factors together. There is only one man capable of doing this and that is Schumi.Schumi also happens to be the Worlds best F1 driver who has experienced going from "nothing to glory",just as he did with Ferrari.
So from Merc GP's angle they have got themselves a super deal with Schumi. No other driver has the brains or knowledge
