Can anyone enlighten me as to which of the "world's leading motor racing circuits" this shower has been involved in? Google doesnt seem to know...

Note that all the gobbledegook is about a proposal for a plan to consider the possibility of a track, which is about as vague as its possible to be...

btw, I'm considering the possibility of a circuit in my garden

@mrfill

Populous were responsible for moving the Silverstone grandstands as far away from the track as possible, and designing a pit lane that half the spectators opposite couldn't see the top teams garages because they hidden behind a 4 metre high wall ... And people think a 'certain' German designer is bad :D

Typical. They want the glamour but don't know how much it will cost.

If there is no grass roots car racing, neither track will be used apart from the F1 race each year. The sums won't add up.
