As Vicky Chandok said very difficult decision but gettng 10th is crucial for the team and I have to put our most experienced drivers in who have been delivering for us. Last race was
our best ever.

The only way Lotus will lose 10th in the championship is if Virgin or HRT get a freak result, so either way it's down to blind luck. It's not really justification imo. Get Trulli out and Chandhok in!

In Germany Chandhok showed once more that he doesn't belong in F1. In GP2 he scored two sprint race victories in three years and came 10th in the championship when his teammate Bruno (who turned out just good enough but nowhere near special in F1) got 2nd.

A decision in favor of Chandhok might have not affected the teams championship position cause neither of the newest teams are going to score anyway, but it would have cast doubt over Team Lotus/Caterham almost desperate attempts to be regarded as a serious team instead of a 'if you got the cash, we got the seat' F1 experience team like HRT and for some part Virgin.

Simple fact of F1..
If you got the cash, you got the seat.
If you got enough cash, Gold or Oil (matters little) you
can have the whole team..
Talent is not necessarily the yard stick..Its all about

Just proves it the cowboys always win with a team full of cowboys and only 2 Indians how was Karun going to get the drive, and what now for the untalented KC Team Lotus don't need him anymore Sky TV don't need him.But .... The JK Tyres (FBMW in Asia) series are looking for good drivers and his dad has influence with JK Tyres he might even win some races

This must be the end of the road for Karun now, what has he to offer? His talent (what talent) won't get him a drive, his Dad's connections cant get him a drive, and as for India they need to spend their money bringing young talent on..If he spends another year with Team Lotus he will go crazy...

Exactly the right choice... The only problem now is that we are going to have to listen to him all weekend when he is the "special guest" of the commentators.

Man, what a waste of care. I would have simply stated "You are not good enough, so be happy that you still got a reserve role..." And if he threw a fit, I'd be measuring another driver for a race suit...

ck, chandhok will probably be better off as a result of not driving. he would have had to PAY to get the seat, but now he will be PAID by bbc to act as a commentator.
he may be a nice guy, but he is not a good enough driver for f1.

No individual is bigger than team. If he can understand the situation then who have got the problem. Honestly saying sticking with Trulli is not going to make any changes for the team and i expected Shandock for this home race.
