If it is all private money then they will lose it as the circuit costs a fortune, paying Bernie costs even more, and they are slashing ticket prices first time round. Their dream will be short lived, but no matter, the circuit will collapse into ruins shortly after. I have spent way too much time in India on business over many years to believe this could be a *slick* operation if you pardon the pun !

Whatever one thinks of the Indian craftsmanship, the circuit has superb design, will be a near sell-out so will have fantastic atmosphere and it's going to be fast,a bloody fast race with plenty overtakening so stop the puerile complaints.

Well I am prepared to give them a chance, but the reports coming out of the circuit aren't good
I love Mr Brundles tweet about his working environment for the weekend
“Our commentary cell in India. No window, nowhere near track. Apologies in advance we cannot do our job properly in here”
(there is a link to a photo in the original tweet)
Commentary box's with no windows & nowhere near the track!! doesn't bode well at all

Had a chat with one of the English contractors that has been at the circuit a while and he said as it was being built the Indian contractors wife and children were here also.... So the the men used to sit around and watch the wife's lay the block paving out the back of the garages, using whatever they could, apart from a mallet, to bed the blocks!! Will explain the craig david 'crazy paving'.
Why are we here?? we all know the answer but what's wrong with Dubai or a Scandinavian GP
