Some one needs to cut LH some slack, he is one of the most entertaining & comitted RACING drivers out there & gets constant penalies when he tries to be fast & beat the field.

Haven't seen the incident but if he did ignore the flags then he needs to be given a penalty, they will have the telemetry and can make a judgement.

It's just not his year, think he accepts that.

I just hope he doesn't start grumbling that he's been singled out, it won't help his cause any.

Doubtless this penalty will start a slanging match between the "leave him alone" brigade and the Hamilton haters!

In this instance though, it should be pretty clear cut - were the yellow flags displayed, and if so, did he continue at full racing speed?

If the answer to both of those is yes, it has to be a penalty and no one can complain. If the answer to either is no, clearly it cannot be a penalty.

Should be a pretty easy one to sort out.

McLaren themselves and Hamilton have said on autosport the penalty was fair.

"McLaren managing director Jonathan Neale said the penalty was fair.

Neale added that Hamilton felt he had made a mistake."

Hamilton is showning some pace so what do they do slap a penalty on the man. What does he have to do not to get a penalty? Not bother drive.

Yellow flags waving, greenlight a blazing, yellow flag indicator gone out so what the hell is he supposed to do? I guarantee if Vettel was the driver in Hamilton's position no penalty would have been given.

Johnny Herbert's, Red Bull connections have come into play nicely for the Red Bull team. What a stitch-up!!

And the Hamilton is being targeted comments begin if people read the arcticle it says Perez also got a penalty so how can Hamilton be unfairly targrted if another driver who was judged to have ignored yellow flags got also got a penalty
