F1 » Drivers in 'love' with Buddh International Circuit

Lewis Hamilton: The track is fantastic – the organisers here in India have done a great job. It's very fast and flowing, the grip-level is fantastic, the run-off areas seem to be good, and the kerbs are probably the best of any circuit we visit: nice rumble-strips that you can drive on.

Seems the feedback from the track has been quite positive. I just hope that this translates into great racing on Sunday. As an F1 fan, that's all that I really want...

Amazing, so the hype lives!

Like myself, I'm sure many our western brethren would be quite jealous with this development :P Anyway, I'm happy for those Indian GP folks out there who toiled a lots to put up such a good show. Good luck for the race!

the build up and reaction to this new Indian GP could not be any further removed from the drab unveiling of Korea last year. It seems that f1 finally has a decent new track in a country where the inhabitants will actually appreciate it. Kudos

The long straights and wide entries into turns are recipes for overtaking. This track seriously look great for F1 race. However, we shall wait for the response from the spectators and whether the hype of having F1 in the country will fade away over time which might result in barren spectator stands and boring place besides track action. To hold an F1 race, the party atmosphere has to be there and not just on track side racing.
